Cell phones are putting a time and date on the image which I love.  Even if you see a selfie with a flip phone you think it's 2004!  Eventually a new technology will swoop in and put an end to this cell phone craze, but for right now, have at it!

It is a technique in Photography to capture a greater dynamic range of Brightness, between the lightest and darkest area of a scene or an object being photographed.  Your cell phone will do this for you but to do it professionally takes a lot of skill.  Each photo has to be in the exact same spot.  The exposure has to be perfect then at one stop below and one stop above.  You take these three images and grab the best qualities out of them.  The top one is HDR and the bottom three images are the ones compressed into it.

]]> [email protected] (Francis Angelone Photography) 2015 Cleveland engagement fall strongsville wedding https://francisangelone.com/blog/2015/10/mark-and-rachels-engagement-photos Thu, 29 Oct 2015 18:36:04 GMT Fun With Food https://francisangelone.com/blog/2015/10/fun-with-food I decided to try something new and this is my first crack at food photography.  I went to Home Depot yesterday and bought some raw wood to make a studio table top.  Then I went to Marshall's for some props.  This led me to Giant Eagle for meats.  I wasn't to happy with their steak selection and the butcher recommended the rack of lamb that wasn't on display.  They cut the rack into smaller pieces cause it's not common for people to buy all 8 attached from Giant Eagle.  And for good reasoning to, they cost 27 dollars.  Lastly I got some beer to go along with the photo.  I know red wine is the typical pairing but I prefer beer to go along with my natural wood table top.  Wine seems for more polish tops.  Here's the results, let me know what you think!

Mathew, Mills Creek Falls and Lake View Cemetary and with their specific building the background.  So I jumped on my Harley and here's the results.
